The food was great and reminded me of Japan. I ordered the mazesoba and mixed in a couple of spoons of the puritans spicy ramen broth and it was wonderful! Each soup broth flavor was different and delicious. Everyone loved what they ordered and would order the same again. We will return to try different dishes.

Very delicious! Had my first experience today, ordered the kurotaka ramen and a side of the karaage, the ramen was so rich and noodles were really tasty and texture, and their karaage was so crispy and the taste was so good and made with very delicious seasoning coating the chicken. Definitely coming back!

βββββ Fantastic experience at Kurotaka Ramen! I came in just before closing, and the owners were kind enough to welcome me instead of making me feel rushed. Their hospitality really stood out. I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and added two extra orders of noodles because it was that good. The broth was rich, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Great food, genuine hospitality, and excellent service. Iβll definitely be back the next time Iβm in town. Highly recommend!

I have come to this place for months, and have tried every item on the menu. Here's a review of a couple dishes: The kurotaka charshu don has the juiciest pork. A dish of rice and pork is the definition of simplicity but the technique used to prepare the dish is far from boring. The kurotaka ramen is creamy and comfort in one dish. The perfectly cooked noodles, veggies, and soft boiled egg is amazing. The broth has so much flavor. I have tried many ramen places, including the most popular in San Diego when I lived there, and never cared to spend money on ramen at a restaurant again. But after trying Kurotaka Ramen, I will gladly go order their ramen again and again. If you want spicy, then get the spicy ramen because it is indeed SPICY. The egg is even covered in flavor and spice. If you enjoy spicy food, order this. Japanese Curry is hearty that I now consider a staple to have. The Karaage Curry don is done so well. The crispy and juicy chicken is good enough to just eat alone. The Curry is thick and perfectly flavored. If you like spicy like my husband, just add the oil from the server and you will enjoy it in the curry. Service is friendly, the environment is clean and the food

Hands down some of the best food Iβve had in Fresno! Service is incredible, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The ramen? Next level. Rich, flavorful broth with perfectly cooked noodles, and the meat was unbelievably juicy. Beats anything Iβve ever tasted in Fresno. The curry with chicken. Flavorful, comforting, and perfectly seasoned. Pro tip: add 3 sides of ghost pepper oil π₯ It gives the perfect kick and takes everything to another level if you love a little heat. Overall, 10/10 experience.
